The yurt is so amazing. My kids loved it!! Swimming fishing and camp fires not far from home. The yurt has no electricity but has a wood burning stove for warmth if needed. There are 6 beds. Very cute place

This is a good place to see a prairie garden, hike on the St. Croix River bluffs, camp in a yurt or do some mountain biking.

With the nice weather, my husband and I wanted to get out and see some fall colors while being able to talk and walk. This place was perfect -- although a bit crowded at first. We went on a Sunday afternoon about 3:30. We did...More

We stopped at Afton State Park after a fabulous lunch at the Afton Inn. The maps were hard to follow and there's clearly a shortage of signage. The park is gorgeous and the walk along the river (when we finally found it) was well worth...More
