There was a lot of interesting things to see at the Nature Center. When we went it was still the home of the future International Owl Center.

Even though it was raining we got a glimpse of the gorgeous scenery surrounding this center. You have to go for the interesting bees and their story. Great gift shop also!

This has been a pleasant and informative addition to our little town of Houston, MN. Please come and see for yourself and enjoy the friendly people and outstanding scenery.

Lots of educational material and sometimes workers to ask questions. Clean restrooms for campers, wood for campfires and lots for kids to do.

I returned after attending the Taste of the Trail event last fall. This place offers Alice the owl, who is the pet of the local naturalist. I had so much fun meeting Alice and learning about the Owl events.

Alice, a real live Great Horn Owl, works at the Houston Nature Center. There are lots of animals feathers and furs for the kids to touch and feel. Cool place.
