Lark toys

Travel stop before the National Eagle center. Beautiful simple wooden toys, and even more beautiful carousel. Also has some Llamas in the back yard. Visit was October 2015.

Lark Toys has been here at this location for nearly 30 years. I remember going there in the late 1980s when the woodcarver/owner was creating the giant carousel (mostly hand carved animals) and one could go and watch it through windows being carved and built. That carousel is still there and operable for kids of all ages to ride on.... More

This is one of the few toy stores that carries more unusual toys. They had marionettes that you could purchase and many different kinds of puppets. The toy museum brought back many memories of toys from my childhood. The carousel is one of the most unusual I have ever seen. The animals are all unique and some local to Minnesota.... More

We stopped to pick up a birthday present for our grandson. What a fun place! They had a wonderful variety of toys as well as displays of different types of collections. Be sure and look for Raoul!

Prepare to spend a couple of hours here. Indoor hand carved carrosel characters, toys for the young and old, home made fudge shop and ice cream, novelty items and hand made toys. Mini golf when weather s good. Have returned often!

We were in the area for the first time and came across this little gem. The employees were very talkative and nice so obviously they have fun on the job. We loved the sign by the carousel saying if you weighed over 180 pounds you had to stand or ride the pig!! We love finding quirky and interesting places and... More

Their toy museum is fantastic. Their store seems like a never-ending labyrinth of more toys. Mind you, this isn't Walmart's toy section, a lot of hard to find stuff here. However, many great items for all age ranges. Their book selection is great too. Now, the restaurant side seemed overpriced, but I guess there's not a lot of options in... More

A fun place--especially for children. From very young, to older. There's even a dress-up corner. To do it justice, you'd want a couple of hours for this location!

Traveled to Wabasha in August and took kids to Lark Toys. Many eras of toys to view and multiple hands on play areas. The mini golf course was very clean and just the right difficulty for the family. The carousel is hand carved and very well built! It is not only clean and beautiful, but sturdy also!!
