The site it not that amazing and the tour guides were worse. Not worth the money that you pay for it. Interesting family history, but you could easily get the same information and save the gas money.

My daughters and I have been to both regular tours and special events at the Mayo House. Becky Pollack always does a great job telling true stories about the famous doctors and other family members. The house itself is unique, built by the family. It is fully furnished with antiques from that time period, even in the doctor's office upstairs.... More

The glass recycled x-ray plates that make up the green house. Coodows to them. The hidden dishes stored in the walls of the mansion.
