We're not hikers but we thought it would be nice to just take a lazy afternoon stroll through the park. There was nobody around on October 1 to help us or to take admission to the park. We assumed we had to leave our payment...More

I travelled to Cascade River State Park last weekend to check out the river and the fall colors. The river was like many along the north shore with fantastic waterfalls. I suggest taking the time to climb to Lookout Mountain. The fall colors are amazing...More

This park has a beautiful river running through it and the trails are excellent. We hiked up to Lookout Mountain that had a spectacular view, while worth the long walk.
