Our daughter is a second year student at the U, and we enjoy visiting as often as we can. Not only do the students get a great, diverse education, but the campus is wonderful.

Right in the middle of the city, UM does a good job of providing a setting of calm and safety, which is surprising since there are no boundaries and you are on the campus before you know it. Nice green space and the area was...More

Took the kids to the dome there for a training run open to the public. They loved it and I was impressed with the place, nice to be covered and big enough for the event. Was good but there was some construction going on and...More

Gigantic, beautiful, extremely well kept campus, with lots of historical architecture and gorgeous landscaping. Great picturesque place for a walk.

The ugliest campus i have ever seen without exception, all buildings brick and with no forethought as to appearance. Simply depressing!

We had a little spare time, so we took the light rail ($1.75) to the University of Minnesota campus. Beautiful and looked much like the campuses of other Big Ten schools. Glad I had a chance to see it.

Huge campus, lots of cool buildings and plenty of stores and shops to check out in Dinky Town. I'm a student and I love it.

I stayed in a AirBnB accommodation in Dinky Town for about 20 days. That was the lowest priced stay I have ever had in all these 4 years of my visits to UoM. The Commons is the best ,of course if price is not an issue... More
