From the perspective of one who is not a theater aficionado or critic... Play was well-executed, with most of the actors portraying real characters in real ways. Story was quite interesting, and the parallel between the story being read and the story being acted was at first subtle and ended overpowering. The theater itself is a good setting - small,... We are members of the Guthrie but always enjoy going to the Jungle Theater, such an intermit experience with accomplished actors, in this case an all women cast. Very enjoyable Cheers

Notice to visitors to Minneapolis: Minneapolis might be second only to New York City when it comes to small venue quality theater. Vibrant theaters are plentiful in Minneapolis. The Jungle Theater is a high quality theater all the way around with highly experienced professional actors and staff. It's a very intimate theater, (read: small). But it's a very well kept... More

What a wonderful venue for live theater. We saw On Golden Pond at the holidays. The staff was friendly and it seems like every seat is good.

The Jungle Theatre is one of Minnesota's jewels and offers consistently superb and original plays. Bradley Greenwald and Stephen Cartmell were hilarious, combining nuance with the over the top gestures that this Irma Vep demands. Don't miss it! We brought our 22 year old son and his date and none of us could stop laughing.

This small, intimate theater on Lyndale, just N of Lake street features some of the old favorites as well as some newer and less well-known plays. The acting is superior, without exception.

We saw a great production of the Heiress. The acting was dead on but also the theater space itself seemed almost out of the Victorian Age as well adding a four dimension that we really appreciated. Every seat in the house is great don't worry about finding a good one. Make sure to really soak in the eclectic lobby area.... More

I have season tickets to the Jungle. Their shows never disappoint. It's a small, intimate theater; there's not a bad seat in the house! They get some of the best talent in the area, as evidenced by their many Ivey Awards (local theater award). Many, many great restaurants nearby.

We went to see "Noises Off" at the Jungle Theater. I had never been to Jungle Theater before, but had heard good things. The show was great and the performers were hilarious. It is a nice intimate theater, and I cannot imagine that any of the seats would be bad. The staff was friendly. I also like that you can... More
