Another must see.

Very beautiful. In the most amazing part of the city. Near great hotels, food, bars and music. Great for the family and across the street from the walker art center.

We always love cruizin' the the Grand Rounds Scenic Byway on our motorcycle when the weather is nice. Looking at the architecture of the community's residences and their well maintained landscaping, to the canoers and kayakers on the lakes, to the rollerbladers, bikers and dog walkers on the paths, there's always something to look at!

Grand Rounds trail winds through the jewel box of lakes in South Minneapolis - Harriet, Calhoun, Cedar, Isles and Nokomis with safe and minimal contact with traffic. You can go round and round for days, or end up at the wonderful Tin Fish restaurant while you appreciate the amazing magnificence of the Minnehaha Falls. This part of the trail is... More

Minneapolis is a bicycler's Eden, with numerous dedicated paved and gravel trails along with street-side lanes covering hundreds of miles. I'd characterize Grand Rounds as a "foundational" path looping much of the city and Mississippi River, with radial spokes of suburban trails intersecting along the way. My opinion is that some of the other suburban trails are in better shape... More

The Grand Rounds is without a doubt a gem in the twin cities for outdoor recreation. I circumvent the entire route several times a year. Great places to people watch, stop for a snack, and just experience Minneapolis!

The Grand Rounds is a series of connected parkways (real parkways-- not those freeways they call parkways out east. These are 25 mph, mostly two lane, some one-way, through parks) around most of the city's lakes, along Minnehaha Creek and along the Mississippi River. Separate bike and pedestrian paths. A fantastic all day bike ride-- winter or summer (the paths... More

really nice trail system, signs everywhere, fun places to stop for a snack or coffee or cold beverage. Trails are really crowded on warm summer afternoons, go earlier if you want to avoid the crowds.

Bike, walk, run, or travel by car to see the beauty of Minneapolis. The Grand Rounds Scenic Byway is an excellent way to see the beauty of Minneapolis and its different and quaint neighborhood. Taking this option allows you to see inside the city and it's first ring suburbs. Don't pass the Eloise Butler Gardens without a stop. There are... More

Minneapolis has so many outdoor hidden treasures. This is an inexpensive and refreshingly outdoorsy experience for city folks. Go by bike, stops by car, or even walk it a portion at a time. You won't be sorry.

I need to go back, there was so much to take in and I wasn't able to do so in 1 trip. Went to a Vikings game and the stadium is magnificent. Super clean and friendly.
