Decided to take the drive through the park on my way from the airport to downtown. It is finally spring here and it's a feel-good kind of place to visit I recommended if you just want to get away

Minnehaha falls is a must visit if you are coming to Minneapolis. A beautiful waterfall, river, park and the yummy Sea Salt restaurant make for a great afternoon visit!! It’s even amazing to see in the winter when it’s frozen over!

No better place to hang out with kids for an hour or so if you're in that area of Minneapolis. Nice trails, especially the lower ones. You can do a loop around the falls with the bridges both below and above the falls.

We went on a cold March morning and the falls were just beautiful. In the spring, summer, and fall there is a café, which is supposed to be really good too. If you are a geocacher, there is one nearby.

The falls were partially frozen and 100% beautiful. What a beautiful park. It was clean and safe. We saw park security several times... always friendly and interacting with visitors.
