Next to the Guthrie, GMP is an excellent setting to catch some rays or just get outside and see the sights. Dominated by a grassy hill in the center with a gently spiraling walkway to the top, climbers are rewarded with some convenient seating and...More

Among my favorite corners of Minneapolis is Gold Medal Park. Whether by bike or by foot, the trails along the part a are wonderul metro hideaway.

Great, pet-friendly park to romp through on a beautiful day. Start your walk with a trip to Izzy's Ice Cream on the South edge of the park!

Quiet area to walk or hang out - nice green space in middle of city. Good exercise area - but great place to rest on a nice summer day.

Came here for the fireworks on the 4th of July--the park was packed but pleasant and comfortable. The hill in the center of the park offers wonderful views.

There is a large mound in the middle which offers a leisurely circular stroll up the hill (Stroller friendly) to the top which offers views of The Guthrie, Stone arch bridge(Somewhat obscured by the trees) and North east. Great park in condo central.

Great Park right on the banks of the Mississippi. Expect it to be crowded and to pay for parking, though.
