Such a beautiful part of Minneapolis. This neighborhood has endless restaurants and shops all within walking distance. If you choose to go to the downtown are, it is just a short cab ride away. I highly recommend walking around in the summertime during one of it's many festivals.

A buddy of mine took me to LynLake and enjoyed it very much. Great atmosphere and the waitstaff was very friendly.

This area had a lot of bars, restaurants and shops. There are also some nice new apartments near by, so I hope that means it will get cleaned up. As it stands Lyn-Lake is kind of a seedy part of town. However since I'm from the burbs, maybe that's how the city is.

Lynn Lake is a commercial area of Minneapolis that used to be dotted with numerous restaurants and lovely little shops. Over time many of them closed their doors and new ones opened up. These days it's mostly a bar-scene without a decent family oriented restaurant. It's loud, dirty and busy and its best to avoid it if possible.

What's not to like about going to a great restaurant and still having to consider the possibility that you may be mugged heading back to your car? We keep it real in Lyn-Lake.

This legendary intersection of South Minneapolis still has independent stores and places to eat, theater and charm but the looming new apartment construction and unsafe traffic feels over run and forgotten by city planners.
