We saw Buddy Guy in the Mystic showroom. There is not a bad seat in the house. It is a Great venue. We had dinner prior in the Mystic Steakhouse. Food was outstanding and done to Perfection. Would highly recommend both.

Mystic is an average casino. I have only played slots here and didn't win anything. I have yet to try the tables, but maybe those are better. Big building with lots of games. Usually pretty busy.

Hotel, gaming, entertainment are all first class. Only thing that is weak is that the hotel swimming pool and exercise area is two, blocks from hotel...although they do provide bus transportation.

Beautiful casino but tight games. Layout of floor games is circular so easily to get disoriented. Hotel was $199 for star luxury. Great food. Caribou coffee in lobby. Hotel is awesome. 5 star for $199. Great food. Caribou coffee in lobby.

You can definitely smoke in the casino. There is no smoking in the dining areas and they do have a nonsmoking section of games but otherwise it is allowed.

They do cash a variety of checks but I'm not sure if an insurance settlement check would be considered or not. It never hurts to call and ask. Remember though they do charge a large fee to cash checks.
