Don't miss a chance to see the Eagles hunting and the colors changing on this part of the river. You may even get a chance to see the American Queen or the American Dutchess paddle boats.

Very large scenic part of the Mississippi river. Best observed from a boat on the lake itself. Always wildlife around the lake including bald eagles.

If you're in southeastern Minnesota for any reason, make a quick trip to Lake Pepin. Even a drive around the lake or renting a boat to enjoy the day, is fantastic. The scenery is most excellent, and Fishing is incredible.

Big huge lake. lots of room for lots of boating. It would be wonderful if there were more lake accessible restaurants on the Minnesota side.

For centuries Lake Pepin was border between the Souix and Chippewa...Often a point of conflict between these neighboring tribes. The Chippewa River named for the latter tribe, enters the Mississippi with great force, and over eons deposited sugar-sand into Father of Waters -- partly damming...More
