Went here for dinner during the Lowertown Blues Festival. We arrived at about 7:45 , greeted at the door by a small standoff-ish fellow who promptly asked if we were looking for a table. He said yes, said the wait would be about 12-15 minutes, then looked at my 2 year old (who i was holding and beong very eell... More

We stopped in here for a Saturday lunch. We shared the pulled pork sliders off the appetizer menu. Delicious! We also each had a cup of chili. It was nice and hot and very good- except we were charged an extra $2.00 for a little bit of grated cheese topping. Oh well..... The atmosphere is good but very loud. Couldn't... More

This place has good food but it's way too packed on the weekends. Hopefully when the light rail is done, we will have more restaurant/bar options in Lowertown. Went here for a friend's wedding. They let the whole wedding party in without checking IDs, then refused to let the bride in because she didn't have hers. She is 29 years... More

DON'T PUT $$ IN JUKEBOX!! I was here over the weekend with some friends, one who was on leave from Iraq. We requested several songs and some were country patriotic. The bar manager used the jukebox remote to skip several songs in a row that we requested. I went up to him and asked him why he was skipping songs... More

I ordered the arugula pesto chix sandwich. The lady asks me I was fries or chips; I go with fries. I also ordered some mayo. What do you know, the fires were not included in the price and they charged me 50 cents for the minuscule side of mayo she brought. I felt taken specially since she never cared to... More

As a traveller and a man on the hunt for the best burgers in the land... The Bulldog Lowertown is one of the best I've ever had. It's a rare gem in that they cook made to order, so fans of the pink will be in heaven. Fun toppings (they make an Elvis burger that's to die for), great sides,... More

Beer selection is great. The food is worth eating. The bartenders should all be replaced. I've frequented this place for nearly a year only because of proximity and beer selection. The bartenders have yet to be friendly, the wait staff is hit or miss, and the crowd has a fair share of arrogant jerks. One would think that a bar... More

So happy to see the Bulldog open in Lowertown! The food is delicious (especially the tots) and the beer selection is large. It's often crowded and noisy, but it's great to see a crowd in Lowertown. A great spot for dinner, apps or drinks.

In a nutshell...Bulldog is clean, comfortable and fun. They have like 50 tap lines with beers I've never heard of but have loved trying. Food is good quality at a moderate price. I had a Rachel and my friend had a Chicago dog with all the trimmings. Good stuff! The chairs weren't too comfortable...but probably because I sat there too... More
