Seeing a play

Here to see the Highwaymen. Make sure that you allow enough time to find parking. There is a light rail station right outside so that would be a good option.

I saw Orphan Train yesterday on the last day. Wonderful musical. Actors have great voices and acting abilities. Story extremely compelling. The only downside was the smoke. They could have left that out, It was a little distracting. The building is lovely and the seats comfortable, the ushers polite and professional. The prices are a little high, but well worth... Went to see the ORPHAN TRAIN story by Patty Lynch, the story about the Orphan Trains that were filled with immigrant children, slaves,Native people taken mainly from the New York city between 1855 and 1920. Very moving and thought provoking well worth seeing.

We have been to shows at the History Theater several times and have been impressed each time. Most recently was Teen Idol: the Bobby Vee story. This was s really fun show for all ages and the music & singing we're very good.

This theatre provides a comfortable and intimate setting. The History Theatre chooses its plays to be entertaining, but also to provide a special insight into some aspect of this region's history, culture, etc. I have been to a number of Broadway and London plays, but one of its productions, Orphan Train, was one of the most moving theatrical experiences of... Though the cast and production will I'm sure live up to expectations, my experience this time has been frustrating at best. I ordered 5 tickets online including 2 students. There was no option to select "student" on the web site, so I assumed they were not available for that performance. When I saw the next day that they were available,... More

Went to Glensheen performance with friends. It was a musical type performance. Actors were outstanding. Interesting seating arrangement, felt like you were there among them. Very enjoyable.

There are very few seats in this theatre that don't have an excellent view of the stage. It is a smaller and more intimare venue which we like. My husband and I have enjoyed every production that we have seen there. The staff is very helpful. I feel I should point out that if you have any handicap there isn't... More

We just saw the musical, Glensheen, based on the murders that took place at the Glensheen mansion in Duluth in 1977. The play is historically accurate, interesting, and dare I say, funny. I remember many of the events but also learned so much more. The cast is excellent with a killer performance by Wendy Lehr who plays the lawyer, Beshmesher,... More

Wonderful theater a part of McNally Smith. Such great acoustics and the setting is intimate; perfect for the smaller productions.
