Waiting for music and beer in the park

This was in my neighbourhood and such a treasure. You can walk the lake, take a boat ride, listen to music, have a beer, bite to eat. I love this place, that screams "IT'S SUMMER."

Pavilion is very beautiful located on the lake with plenty of scenery near by. After a walk around the lake, it's an excellent place to stop and rest and grab a bite to eat. Pavilion also used for weddings and other assorted events.

The pavilion is beautiful and features events and a restaurant. There are plays, a farmer's market, and a full service restaurant. Such a beautiful setting, and would highly recommend!

This historic building houses a nice restaurant and free concerts in the summer. In the winter it is used as a warming house for the skating rink on the lake.

We had Prom there back in High School upstairs, it was a nice area. I also like to walk around the lake there.

I grew up within walking distance of Como, and took a stroll through the pavilion the other day. What was once a "maintained" pavilion for summer concerts and winter skating is a full service destination. The restaurant offers a basic meal assortment with both alcohol and non alcohol choices. The rental area for watercraft is modern and inviting. The pathway around... More

This was remodeled and did an excellent job. It is very formal looking but people around the lake come casual. The services they offer brings outdoor entertainment on the pavilion area connected to the restaurant. The food is southern and the drinks are pricey

A wonderful relaxing view in the historic pavilion. Limited food choices, wine and beer. Down below are options to rent a paddle boat or surrey bicycle. Enjoy!!!

Como is a beautiful lake to stroll, bike or ride around. The pavilion has restrooms, a bar/restaurant area, and is a nice place for wedding receptions. A walk around the lake is 1.6 miles. A real treat in St. Paul!

Full disclosure, I'm a Saint Paul native and I want you to know about Como Park. Leave the loveliness of downtown, and come up Lexington to Como Park. An evening walk around the lake is a joy most times of year. You'll see neighbors getting their exercise, dog walkers picking up after their pets, visitors riding rented family bike/wagons, kayaks...
