The Temperance River Gorge is a must see stop on the North Shore. The river has a series of very large potholes and water falls. There is a short but steep climb to the best views; definitely worth the effort. The trails have recently been...More

We loved our stop here. The walk was so beautiful, the falls were awesome. We have not done this walk before, but we won't miss taking it again. Breath taking for sure.

Free parking on the each side of HWY61. We started on the south side of HWY61 bridge. Well maintained trail along the river. Great views on the foot bridge of falls and the river meeting Lake Superior. We then took the trail on Northeast side...More

This one is great because you can make it as long or as short of a hike as you want. You can go to the bottom where it meets Lake Superior, then hike up all along the gorgeous falls, and then hike on top along...More
