Beautiful vistas, great hiking trails, and a must-visit for rock climbing or geology enthusiasts. A terrific place for a fall color walk. Also terrific for canoeing or kayaking. Interstate State Park has unique geological features in its glacial potholes, formed by moving water and debris. These holes, formed in the rock surrounding the river, range from a few inches to... The trails here are amazing. They also give way for you to explore on your own off trail as long as you are careful of slippery rocks. 100% recommend visiting though the PARKING IS NOT FREE. Saw many people get tickets as the lot does not say pay to park.... it's $5/day for the state park.

This is a lovely and small park. Couple nice hikes and the glacial pot holes are worth seeing. Know that if you want a quiet remote park this isn't a fit, its busy and a river boat will go by down the St Croix a few times a day. But it's convenient for a quick weekend get away from the... More

This park is well kept, the spaces are average in size. There is little coverage between sites but it is pretty, there are some pretty trails. The fire pits are well kept, along with the picnic tables at each site. The bathrooms are also well kept, I wasn't a fan of the showers which were push button with the shower... More

Wonderful for hiking and for easy bouldering. Great family activity and the loops for the trails are manageable for every level of fitness. Just beware of the mosquitoes; they were fierce.

Love, love, love this park! Wish I lived closer! If you have a fear of heights or falling, maybe this park isn't for you. But if you have kids that like to climb then make your way here! We found frogs in the pot holes, lots of mushrooms, and even a skink today too! The bouldering was awesome. Even my... More

The park is very nice and we had a great time. The biggest problem going to this park is parking. They need more parking.

While most people are renting or bringing their own canoes or kayaks. My daughter and I ventured to bring our SUP's. Boy was that a blast. The meat park about this is that you can either bring two cars and park one at Osceloa for a 2 hour paddle or William O'Brien for another two to three hours. You can... More

I love this park because it's different from the usual Minnesota prairie and pinecone scenes (which I love also). The huge potholes drilled into the basalt rocks truly give a sense of the power of the glacier meltwater. It's almost a solemn place. River scenery is beautiful. Services in Taylor's Falls are excellent.

Great place to take a hike and have an adventure. Fun for all ages and great exercise. The views and trails are amazing. Love that you can bring a cooler and picnic lunch. Great way to spend a day!
