I've been going to Gooseberry Falls for over 50 years and I still enjoy stopping there and walking the paths and the falls in the summer. It's really a special sight in the winter months although very slick on the trails. If you can catch...More

This park is absolutely beautiful as the pictures prove! The falls are impressive and the trails provide ample opportunities to see them from all different views. It's a perfect park for day hiking, and the surrounding area of Two Harbors is always beautiful and full...More

We parked at the bottom lot so that we could go on the Gitchi - Gamibike bike trail after visiting the falls. We hiked all the way up to the falls. Beautiful hike. We didn't pass many people on the way up so we didn't...More

My husbands and mine favorite place to go in the summer. Lake Superior is the next best thing to the ocean. Beautiful views within the parks. Great place to hike, see the falls or have a picnic. Great place to visit in all the seasons.

Hadn't been there in over 20 year. Took my Grandkids in Aug. We had a wonderful time hiking the trails down to Lake Superior and seeing the Falls. You can walk across at the base of the Falls. There's a walking bridge too. Lots of...More

The falls are as beautiful frozen as they are in the summer. But, I recommend Yak Traks or some other traction enhancement for your boots because the stairs and ramps are icy in winter. A lot of people just walked carefully and held the railings.

I remember years ago prior to MN building this state park, people would just pull off the road onto the shoulder and park. I'm surprised more people hit. The state park takes everyone off of the roadway. They have a beautiful information center. They have...More

This is one of our favorite campgrounds! The campground books up fast, but it's perfect for families that are car camping. Our site was good, near enough to the bathrooms for little ones making middle of the night potty trips but far enough away to...More

All of the trails are open. But they are not plowed. A lot of people go, so the snow is pretty well packed down. For that reason, it can get slippery on the stairs. The accessibility ramps were a bit easier to walk... More
