My son and his family lead us on an early spring adventure to the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN - but that was only part of the attraction. The area along the Mississippi River along Lake Pepin in both Minnesota and Wisconsin has become the wintering grounds for thousands of raptors - most notably the Bald Eagles. The open... More

Nice exhibits, informative and knowledgeable. The live presentations are very interesting and engaging. The live birds are breathtaking! We must have seen more than 20 eagles on the drive down from the twin cities.

Really awesome. Great view. Get to see eagles from about five feet away. Eagles can have a wing span of up to 7 feet wide.

The Eagle center is a great place to learn about the National symbol. There are live Eagles that are somehow wounded and you can get close to them .I believe there are 5 that cnnot be released. A good experence that is interesting and interpretive. Certainly a great place to view wild Eagles and learn about them.

MARKMITZ, You are correct - all of our eagle ambassadors have been injured in the wild, recovered and gone through the rehabilitation process. Unfortunately, their injuries are of a nature that they would not be able to survive on their own in the wild. So we care for them and use them to teach visitors just like you about eagles... More

We had a great afternoon here! Myself my dad and my 8 year old niece. It's very interactive and has a lot of great information about both eagles and the environment in the upper Mississippi River. My favorite part was the room where you get to be so close to live eagles! We all had a great time. Good way... More

I have been to Wabasha so many times and have stood in front of the National Eagle Center each time. I never wanted to pay $8.00. This time it was raining and cold, so we went in. I felt it was very well worth the entry fee. It was good to learn how this very large area the Mississippi valley... More

These Eagles come with their own story, but were in injured in some manner and are unable to return to the wild, so they... More
