This is a gorgeous lake with lots of good fishing spots! If you like the lake life then this is a Great Lake to play around on! Several restaurants you can boat up to!

June 10th - 17th. One day of rain so we went sight-seeing. Fish were biting the entire week. We had to stop!! Just beautiful weather.

There is something for everyone. The fishing is some of the best in the state. Family friendly everywhere in town. Great food places and shopping. The beaches and lakes in the area are gorgeous.

I have been all over Minnesota fishing and have not have this great of fishing. Big walleye and plenty of keepers.

This was such a beautiful lake! Definately loved the view we got from the hotel! It was so calming and relaxing it literally took my breath away!

Walker has a little beach near the small lighthouse/ boat ramp in the bay near DQ and Hardee's. Some resorts have a sandy beach, but you'll need to call and ask- I can't remember!! Big Rock Resort has a heated swimming... More

The mosquitoes are not any heavier than usual. A good bug spray or skin so soft Off works great.
