Overview
More
Peninsula Peljesac, the oasis of black wines, has been visited by many tourists and lovers of good drops in recent years. Walking along the Peljesac landscapes, the unavoidable destinations are the vineyards, taverns and wineries that are all connected to each other accidentally or intentionally. However, one of them is distinguished by its quality, knowledge and perseverance. From a small wine cellar visited by a small number of tourists, Winery MATUSKO in Potomja is transformed into one of the largest and most famous destination of winemakers from all over the world where Wine expert Mato Violic Matusko, presents and offers top quality autonomous wines from the Peljesac region and the Dubrovnik-Neretva County. At the winery Matusko there are currently thirteen wine labels, six of which are quality, one sparkling wine, one archive and five top wines. Visiting this winery remains an everlasting experience that will be restored again with each glass of Matusko wine.

If you're visiting Peljesac, this should definitely be on your to-do list. Wine cellar is impressive and wine itself is excellent.

We loved Zeljka who explained all about Matusko Dingac and their wines. It is a beautiful winery and the Dingac reserve is excellent. You'll enjoy a visit here.

Matuško wines are great...personally the best dingač I have tried so far, but you also need to try the Dingač Reserva, the award winning wine...the cellars are spectacular, very clean and tasteful, especially the large round table area...the only flaw is they do not accept...More

This was an okay tour but only okay being Australian we are used to better organised and more interesting winery tours. We were part of the Perla Adriatica tour group which we had been led to believe was a wine tasting tour. Alas only 38...More

The basements are great! You can experience the true atmosphere of the wine-growing region and the way of making wine. The staff has all explained us very well and learned some things.

This winery is amazing, the caves down below are awesome. I preferred the reds but the dessert wines are also very good.

Wine that we tasted was lovely and we bought 2 bottles. Wonderful to find there were enormous old & atmospheric cellars below. Where you could house a village. Apparently the first week in December you buy a glass and then can stay and drink as...More
