Great venue for family gatherings/picnics, but make you bring everything you need and be prepared to take it all home with you. Bring some shade if it's going to be hot and your bat/ball!

This is an urban park with lots to do for all. There are quiet spaces to retreat, a fish-ladder, the river, adventure playgrounds, plenty of picnic spots, a Parks Victoria office and a cafe. It's a quiet, slow drive into a little bit of the country in the city.

Have visited here a few times with my children ages 6 & 9, and we all love it. The playground is fabulous, and my children love to collect sticks and build 'a house' against the frame that has been prebuilt. We all love walking down to the river, and climbing on the rocks. When you are down at the water,... More

The park itself is a great spot to see nature, go for a run, let kids run wild and relax. The avid aeroplane nut will love this place as most arrivals and departures track directly above the park offering a constant stream of aircraft to look at. The cafe food is quite highly priced and the coffee is hit and... More

I haven't been to this park in 15 years. The park has really grown. It offers a great low cost cafe, walking tracks and heaps of play equipment for kids to play on. Also has plenty of car spaces so you can visit the wonderful park Will be back soon!

Brimbank Park is in East Keilor. You can get there on the Western Ring Road. The park is in its natural state mostly. This is not a great park for scenic beauty, but is a good place for a picnic.

I have driven past the entrance many times without even realising what it was. One day curiosity got the better of us and we drove in. What a surprise we got. The park is huge! This place can cater for any size BBQ group you could care to imagine, there are walks in a lovely tree lined valley, the kids... More

Brimbank Park is a great asset for families and groups to BBQ, meet, take a leisurely walk or use the hills for fitness training. There is a cafe down in the park (good coffee) and a children's adventure playground. Early morning in the park the birdlife is loud and raucous, if you look closely you may see possums and you...
