This museum provided information on the contraband camps in Corinth. This was an area of the civil war that I had not heard about before. I enjoyed reading thru the flip thru books that contained words from the previous slaves describing life in the camps....More

One of the greatest visitor's centers I've been to! The sculptures are beautiful and creative. Technology is up to date with important information delivered in a fascinating way. The ranger was great.

We spent about 90 minutes here, and really needed more time. The gently sloped walkway leading up to the entrance had a number of bronze elements in and around it reminding the visitor of the human and material cost and debris of the Civil War....More

The center is one level so there will not be a problem with stairs. There is limited parking near the entrance, so may have to drop them off and walk up from lower parking area. There are audio presentations, so please be... More

I have no idea, but as others suggest the park rangers may know. They are very knowledgable and helpful.
