The war memorial is on top of a small hill in Fremantle and provides excellent views across the port area and bay. The memorial itself is striking and well worth seeing.

This location was a stop on the tram tour, our driver stops for 5/10 minutes to allow people to take photographs, it’s a well kept site and it’s worthwhile taking time to read the plaques. It’s a nice place to reflect on the people who...More

Best lawns you'll see anywhere that are mowed every 3 days with every blade of grass manicured within an inch of their life! The place has an amazing view of Fremantle harbour and shows great respect to our veterans

War Memorial in old Australian style, has a small womens section, magnificent views in every direction, explanatory plaques around the parkland area, classic design and hsitoric style, good picnic area (bring your own everything), no public toilets, no water.

Nestled in one of the world's largest inner city parks, this is a must visit attraction not just for the historic value and significance, but the spectacular views of the area and the stunning flora and fauna all around Kings' Park!

The memoria is high on a hill so the views are good. It is clean and tidy and quite peaceful. Quite a steep climb from the road but vehicle access is provided. The bus stops quite near.
