Visited the Island View Casino/Hotel in early May. Stayed in the Beach Tower, on the 18th floor which had a great view of the beach and Gulf. Rooms are a little small, beds comfortable but a long walk from the hotel to the casino. Staff was friendly and prompt. Casino needs a little updating with a lot of very old... More

Buffet was free so no complaints . Gaming was a blast! Great slots and ample table games. We will definitely visit again.

I was in Gulfport, Mississippi for military orders and my friends (and I) wanted a buffet with crab legs. Our meal was good as we followed up with some gambling. Surprisingly enough we all walked away above our $100 limit. GOOD LUCK

The food in the Buffet Restaurant was OK, nothing really spectacular except for the desserts. The big problem was that smoking is allowed in the casino, which made me ill. The lighting was very poor in the casino as well, so that the clanging and flashing lights were a problem. And the place is a maze - bring a compass... More

Once you have been to one casino you have been to them all. The casino is clean with a nice island style but I do believe the parking lot seems a little unsafe very late a night. We did not see any security guards outside around when leaving after 1am.

Very friendly and professional staff, dealers and pit bosses are really nice for the most part. Good comps if you play table games, got free buffets for myself and my wife each day I played. On Thursdays they have a great crawfish boil, and theygive out free tickets for that too if you're playing. Overall, a fun place.

This is left over 1st generation casino........on a recurrent life support/lease of life. The service, food is poor. Low entertainment value. The food in particular is tasteless, inadequately prepared and limited in choice and very pricey. Being in a road side position they attract and deceive the first timers....

Didn't stay at Island View, but they did come to my hotel and pick me up and return me to the hotel at no cost. Signed up for the players club and received $10 free play. Overall was impressed and left with a little more money than I came with. Would like to return and stay at the hotel as... More
