Not sure that it is worth a visit as the museum needs to be modernised and brought into the 21st century. The exhibits are limited and there are very few opportunities for kids to interact with different elements. The trails are excellent and everyone enjoyed...More

What a gem exists in Jackson,MS. And it’s free. Plenty of interactive exhibits, and knowledgeable people. Don’t miss it.

Wasn't sure what to expect, but I was blown away! The museum focuses on Mississippi Natural History, but it has plenty to show and tell. I was fascinated by the variety of fossils discovered throughout the state, and to see the wildlife exhibits. My absolute...More

Some excellent and well organized exhibits. Perfect for youngsters. Didn't need a lot of time to see the exhibits as they were just changing a large display so a large portion was not being used on the day we arrived.
