This site, just behind the old basketball arena (Tad Smith coliseum) on the Ole Miss campus, is a stark reminder that war is hell. So many lives lost- sons, brothers, fathers, husbands- in a war that was so unecessary, but passions rose and diplomacy failed....More

Sacred ground where you can almost feel the souls of the passionate, terrified, brave young men who never made it home. It certainly is not a "fun" destination. But, while you visit Ole Miss, make some time to sit and reflect. Seems even more poignant...More

The final resting place for several hundred Confederate Soldiers who never returned home. Quiet little location hidden on the campus and worth a moment of your time to stop by and consider the young lives lost more than 150 years ago.

Amid the ever bustling "community" of the Ole Miss Campus is this "sacred" and reverential little cemetery. This is an old civil war graveyard where soldiers from both sides were buried. It's an old site in the middle of the Ole Miss campus. There's not much to see here except one large stone monument. If you are on campus it is worth...More

This is a great place to bring someone, especially young kids, to show them a part of history. It's on campus and easy to get to.
