The name alone conjures up images of wind swept treeless terrain, and that is exactly what River Bend Links is. Golf course architect Clyde Johnston describes his River Bend Links course as "a field of dunes". Clyde transformed this cotton field into a marvelous Scottish links style course. Built next to the Mississippi River where animals still inhabit the area, during the round you may see deer, fox, or wild turkey.

Friendly staff. Only wanted to play 9 and they had 9 hole rate plus senior rates. $20 with cart. Not bad. Nice enough course.

Always enjoy playing here. Wide open fairways with water on a couple of holes. Small greens on few holes keep this a good challenge. We return every year to play .

we went here on a whim, and i was pleasantly surprised. technically, it's sort of out in the open and there aren't many trees on the course itself. normally this would be boring golf, hitting it around in an open field. but that's just it. it's not really an open field. there's hills all over the place. hot huge ones,... We checked this course out to take a break from gambling and were pleasantly surprised. It has a nice little clubhouse and very friendly staff. Nice mix of sand traps and water hazards. The course was pretty rough when we visited because of some rain they had a week or so prior to our visit. The sand traps were either... More

A friend and myself played River Bank Links in March. The grass was showing green. It is a fun course, but you must hit straight. Some of the fairways are narrow and in some cases water both left and right. Four sets of tees measuring from 4,975- to 6,923-yards. On the back tees rating is 72.6/128. Glad I played it... More

I played the course in late February, which is the worst time of year because grass is all dormant and course is dried out due to no irrigation in the winter. However, I could tell that this course is probably great to play in the summer. Personally for me, I think the fairways are a little narrow on some holes.... More

very good links golf course, 4 tees to accommodate everyone. very friendly staff, can be harder from the gold or back tees. food is good and quick service. guy brings cart to your car and is very helpful. my only issue was that there is no hole map on scorecard, there are a couple of hidden water hazards the it... Rewriting my review from earlier in the year. New management seems to have course back in great shape. So much better than it was in the spring. Glad to see the great conditions and will be back soon!

My husband & found this course to be in pretty good shape. Tee boxes & greens were very good. It's a fairly easy layout with not a lot of trouble especially if you hit your balls pretty straight. Basic links style course. While the gentleman who helped us with our clubs, etc, was very nice, we found the man staffing... More

Annual golf trip to Tunica with my buddies. Pretty disappointed this year with the condition of the course. Fairways rough and greens were awful. We played late morning 10:00 or so and the sprinklers came on around noon...who does that. Spend the extra $10 and hit Tunica National, it is great. Too bad Cottonwoods went out of business with Harrahs... More
