Nothing major to look at unless you're an engineering buff, but still impressive and great view to drive over.

This dam is very different from Hoover Dam in regards to accessability. We tried to find a physical approach to it and walk along the causeway. There appeared to be none. I would get a look at it from the grounds of the Fish Hatchery and Nature Center.

We always enjoy the walking trails by the lake & the visitor center has a wonderful observation deck & history & science of the area, plus a special kids area for little ones to explore too.

This dam holds back Table Lake and provides hydro electic power. The lake has 800 acres of shoreline for recreation. Great place to visit and visitors center is free.

If you enjoy learning about the area and history, this is a perfect spot to do so. The views from the dam were great -- and the history about the area was enlightening. The Osark Mountains (Hills) were very pretty!
