Visited this museum April 2012, Im not much of a fan of Gone with the Wind so this didnt appeal to me at all, my girlfriend is however a huge fan of the movie, and she wanted to go inside, it was $10 a person which I thought was over priced for what they offered, they wouldnt allow you to... More

I looked forward to visiting the Gone with the Wind Museum in Branson, however when planning our trip discovered it is now closed permanently. The website is still online and has announced its closure. That's too bad, since it had so many great reviews. I gave it 5 stars based on other reviews and the Thank You note left on... More

I am not a collector but I've always liked the movie. My husband and I along with friends visited the GWTW Museum a few months ago and were just enthralled with the beautiful displays and the personal nature of her collection. The owner's collection is one of the largest in the country and includes a variety of authentic costumes, photos,... More

Went to see the "Gone With The Wind" museum in Branson, MO and we loved it. Our daughter was a fanitac about the movie and book and did have some things she collected. Sadly, she never made it to the museum as she passed 3 years ago, but we got to see it and had her with us in our... More

My adult daughter and I visited this museum as a treat for her birthday since she has always been GWTW fanatic ever since she first read the book as a teen. We have both read the book and seen the movie multiple times since. We had high expectations and certainly were not disappointed! Although it is not an extremely large... More

THe collection shown at the GWTW museum in Branson is one of the top ones in existance. The owner was a MAJOR lender to the largest GWTW exhibit ever staged in 2011 for the 75th anniversary of the book's publication. Original art work, costume items, scripts and merchandise items from over the years are beautifully displayed in custom built cases... More

My Family and I are great fans of the book and the film. We went to the wax museum and Rippley's and Titanic. This was by far the best of the four. If you are any type of GWTW fan This is a must, not to mention the fact that it was the most inexpensive museum in town and kids... More

The Gone With The Wind Museum in Branson Missouri is a definite must-see. I am a collector of GWTW memorabilia and I have been to all the GWTW museums that I know exists. This one rates right at the top of the list. Even if one is not a collector, there are items here that you will never see anywhere... More

This beautiful museum in downtown Branson is an incredible tribute to "Gone With the Wind," both book and film. The items on display--from original props and costume sketches to books, posters and promotional items--will keep you fascinated, and a wonderful gift shop offers the chance to take home a souvenir of your visit. By all means, stop by for a... More
