As first time Visitors, I made our reservations a month ahead and the info and recommendations that we received were great. They set us up with a Good Hotel, 2 Shows, and good advice about staying out of the 'Strip' traffic. Very helpful and friendly.

Not a lot to see, but has a nice view of Table Rock Lake and an interesting museum-like area. Also good area for a picnic.

We have been here many times and have always found it educational and entertaining. The last time we were there, it turned out that the gentleman with us had actually been involved in the building of the dam with the Army Corp of Engineers, so he had A few additional comments. The observation deck is A perfect photo spot overlooking... More

Enjoyed a brief stop into the visitor center to learn about the history of the dam. Great exhibits and facility right on the lake!

This is a small visitor center but it has interesting exhibits about the surrounding Table Rock Lake and the other waterways which required the huge dam to be built. The view is very pretty too.

This place has several things for kids. It teaches you about the table rock lake damn and all the wildlife and more in the ozark. We've been coming to Branson for years and are glad we've now visited this visitors center.

Our group sat in on an informative 20-minute movie, showing how the dam was built to help control flooding. There is an overlook of the dam, and some displays downstairs.

Good information on the building of the damn. Nice paved walking trail along the lake if you like that sort of thing

I only give it 3 stares because I'm still ticked that once they built this center, they prohibited SCUBA diving below it by the dam. They should have incorporated this long time activity into the center instead of banning it. Now that that is off my shoulders, the center is educational and has some neat displays and a nice observation... More

Four of us adults enjoyed the views and all of the exhibits at the Dewey Short Visitors Center! Wow! We learned a lot watching the short video about the construction of the Dam also!
