My family loves this place. We aren't local so we make it a point when we are in town to stop in. My 4 year old won't stop talking about a butterfly that landed on his face. Pretty cheap, quick, and clean fun!

I was a good day to spend exploring the different types and species of butterflies. The children enjoyed Faust Park, the Carousel and the playground as well.

This is the best butterfly house that I have ever visited. The conservatory is large and filled with an array of exotic plants, many of them in bloom, much to the butterflies' delectation. These are supplemented by a few dishes of sliced bananas. Butterflies flit...More

What a wonderful way to spend some time with my grandchildren. We loved all the in door exhibits with the insects but we really loved going out and hanging with the butterflies.. I recommend taking off any jackets before you enter to really enjoy it....More

I truly enjoyed my visit at the Butterfly House. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and it's a very cute and peaceful place to spend time in. I would definitely go back.

Dress accordingly, because the Butterfly house is hot and humid year-round. It can be a nice change during mid winter. Opportunities to observe the life-cycle of many types of butterflies and good photo-ops. Plan to spend about an hour visiting.

How far is the parking from the butterfly house? I can't walk very far without sitting once in a while.

I'm sorry I didn't see your question. My daughter is in a wheel chair, it is not very far at all and there are places to sit :)
