We actually toured the home twice in one day. We were absolutely in awe of extraordinary beauty; and its' rich history to the town of Hannibal is truly exceptional. When you hear the story of how this home came to be, and how it was almost lost to demolition at one time, you will be amazed. If you love historical... More

So glad we stopped to see this mansion. So very interesting. At this time of year, it is slow, so my husband and I were the only ones for tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting This one is a must see.

I've never used Tripadvisor before, but I just had to leave a review for the amazing experience I had at Rockcliffe Mansion last weekend. I'm a student on a tight budget, but I drove up from St. Louis with my partner and the hour-long tour was worth every penny. The home itself is so remarkably preserved and offers an important... The mansion was spectacular! Our guide (Warren) was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic making the rooms come alive as you imagined the stories unfolding as he told them! We loved every minute of it and will definitely be back!

A group of 12 of us were given a tour by one of the owners, Warren. The mansion is fascinating and will definitely WOW you. It is amazing that so many of the original possessions are still in place. The home is grand and important. A must see for anyone to see in the Midwest!

Really unbelievable for the time this mansion was built. All of the great ideas that were way before their time. Very much intact in its original state.

We really enjoyed our tour of the mansion. The rooms were amazing and so nicely decorated with period furniture and accessories that you could imagine it being 100 years ago. The tour was especially good because of the guide, Warren, whose enthusiasm for and knowledge of the building's history brought each room to life. If you visit the mansion, hope... More

Went there on 10/29 and we were very impressed. The owners are very pleasant, as well as professional. They have done a wonderful job with the house and make everyone feel very welcome. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We liked the location, you could even walk if you preferred.

I almost never write reviews but felt compelled on this one. We stayed the night at the B&B and went on the tour the following day. How cool! Warren and Juan were so friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Such a fun place to visit and view! We can't say enough about how comfortable, interesting, and cool this experience was.

One doesn't find too many period mansions this well restored (interior done, exterior next), and where one can stay over night. There is amazing workmanship throughout, and gives a glimpse into turn of the century opulence. The tour was hosted by Becky, who was both knowledgeable and relaxed, but most appreciated was her conversational approach without sounding like a bored... More
