We did not walk up to the statue, but stood at the bottom of the hill and made a photo. Everything is in close proximity and the traffic was not at all bad. We enjoyed.

This statue and the one of Samuel Clemens capture what this area is all about. If you come to Hannibal, you really need a pic of these.

Good memory making point. Took family pictures. Then hiked up the stairs to the light house. All good.

It's a nice statue and little garden. We stopped for a photo on our way down from the lighthouse and kept on walking.

A good picture spot. Statue placed to overlook the town. Nice tribute to the tales of Twains books & the 'come to life' characters.

You can't miss this statue if you walk all the way down main street heading North. It is a great picture op and the city keeps it well manicured. Walk on up to the lighthouse next!
