Adam Puchta Winery, located off Hwy. 100 on the banks of Frene Creek about 2.5 miles southwest of Hermann, is the oldest family farm winery in Missouri. Its true uniqueness, however, lies in the fact that the same family has continuously owned it since 1855. We are a true farm winery with a peaceful, laidback setting. Many cats live here, and the property has picnic tables on a lovely shaded hillside so you can sit, visit and relax.Tastings are done in a cool old barn where we pair wine with food for a truly enhanced experience.

Located on the outskirts of town the winery is in a great picturesque location. A good variety of wines are available and are of good quality. A popular place when we visited lots of visitors but they still had good service.

I was really excited to visit this winery because of the cats, the reviews, and the charm it seemed to show on their site. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with this stop. There was a $5 cover to enter, which included a wine tasting; however, my...More

Thank you for your review. While I'm sorry you didn't completely enjoy your experience with us, I'm glad to hear you like our kitties! Most of the cats don't care for large crowds so they usually don't come out on the weekends. During Octoberfest weekends...More

Well worth the visit for its friendly pours and weathered authentic charm. The tasting area is a barn from the 1800's and this one is the oldest continuous winery around. If you have a nose for unpretentious charm, you will savor the visit as the...More

Great Selection of wine and friendly staff. Grounds are beautiful this time of year. Tasting staff is helpful. Their hunters red is one of my favorites.

Tastings were generous. Delicious wine. We bought here as quality was best of the four we tried locally. Port is also great with separate tastings. Atmosphere isn’t as nice as the big wineries but wine is worth the visit.

Stopped in on a Sunday, $5 cover charge which includes wine samples. Had music but no band. Glasses of wine were $7. Just had one and moved on to some of the other wineries in the area. Not much of a view there.
