More
Mercado del Pueblo is the only Farmer's Market in Nayarit and the first in the Bahia de Banderas. We feature local, organic and natural consumable goods from the region. Recently, local artisans were also added. Every Friday, during the growing season from November-April,come enjoy the products of the area from vegetables and fruits to medicinal products and prepared artisan foods and handmade jewelry. Live music every Friday and street performers make it fun for all! All proceeds from the market go directly to support local projects like water and river clean up, providing biodegradable and natural cleaning supplies to the town and supporting our local children's parks and schools.

I really liked coming here when it opens, although most of the stands are rather pricey. the variety of food sets up a delicous vibe, unless you're not planing to try any. if you do, look for the sushi place inside on your left.

Local, organic food is amazing! Hours 10-2pm. We are closing the end of April until November as local vegetables do not grow here during the summer months.

Go to Sayulita for the Friday market, 10am to 2pm. Small market. Goods are not cheap (small packet of candied pecans cost 100 pesos) but they are reasonable quality. Lots of jewellery. Live folk music. A best thing about Sayulita is the town itself (see...More

It's a small market, but very fun. Some great French pastry when you enter on the left. Several unusual venders in the market. Try the sausage maker and the cheese guy. Worth the time to go!

So glad you found us! Yes, we are a fairly small market, only about 75 vendors. We bring in all the local farmers , have some great artisan foods and locally made cosmetics and medicines and a few artists. Hope to see you next time!

Our season is Nov-April, as we follow the farmers! With the heat and humidity in the summer, it is hard to grow anything. Hope to see you another time
