Puddleduck Vineyard is a small family Tasmanian Vineyard owned by Darren and Jackie Brown. We welcome you to taste our beautiful cool climate wine at our friendly cellar door, which is open from 10 - 5 daily. Whilst here you will probably meet Polly our wine dog, or Lucky or cellar door duck. Feel free to have a "Reverse BYO" (you supply the picnic food and we supply the beverages) to enjoy while in the area.

One of the best family wineries that I came across in Tasmania was Puddleduck Vineyard- to the point where I visited twice- once for their tastings and then returned for a must-do lunch time cheese platter. You cannot go wrong and the service is so lovely that you walk out with a big smile on your face- even if you... More

I visited today with my partner and was met with brilliant service, quality wine and an awesome family who runs the winery. The ducks are literally everywhere and super friendly. You can BYO food and have a picnic, just have to buy their wine, which is not an issue, as their wine is fantastic. An absolute must see! Thanks also... More

A really good small production winery and store. I was there for the wines and each was interesting, well made and enthusiastically presented by the winemakers daughter. The riesling was my favourite followed by the sparkling. So easy to find on the main Cambridge to Richmond road.

I have seen major changes with this boutique vineyard over the years, the extensions, the added vineyards, the shop, etc Fabulous customer service, lovely down to earth staff and friendly. I bought 4 wine coasters and of course after spending hours there for a party bought a bottle of chardonnay. The grounds are spotless and there is also a covered... More

Beautiful Vineyard just 15 minutes drive from Hobart CBD. Great facilities including a pond surrounded by the Vineyard. Family friendly with a kids playground. Great place to wind down before driving to the airport - flying home to .... Good selection of wines for tasting with a cheese platter (25 $)

I can not say how great this vineyard has become. Small changes over time have lead to a great place for a drink and food. The reverse byo for outside area is an awesome idea. When you think the food cannot get better it does. Have your function there and you will not regret it. We had engagement there and... More

Loved the knowledge given by the guy on the front desk. He was informative bout his farm's history and also still down to earth. Great for families as they cater to children and although you pay for a tasting, it was still worth it. All grown there and a full family business. Fantastic to see.

Take some sunshine and you have the idyllic setup. Wine tasting of superb wines- love the Riesling. Great outdoor area which is totally kid friendly. Ducks in the pond being protective of the chicks. Life can get no better

Sat with the owner for a tasting and listened to her spiel on how Puddleduck started. Enjoyed looking over pics from the beginning to today's gorgeous setting over the lake. Great way to end our Coal River wine tour!
