Decided to celebrate Easter Sunday at this really beautiful Catholic Church. The church is very well preserved and filled with lovely works of art. The service was excellent and meaningful. Love one another! The graveyard is very interesting with such old gravestones. Great resting place and history waiting for you to visit.

Apparently in the unmarked graves that run down the hill contain many a forgotten convicts , what a shame to be just forgotten for ever

It is an impressive stone church, and all the more interesting because it is still an active place of worship. A lovely building.

It's about a 10 minutes walk past the Richmond bridge and you won't be dissapointed. This is a must see attraction in Richmond. Make sure you walk up the stairs to the right of the church, once you walk inside the Church you will be amazed. Then if you walk around the outside of the church to the back, there's... More

Do go in and see the beautiful stained glass windows and awesome woodwork and outside the stonework and old cemetery. Just a short still up from the bridge car park.

It was very disappointing last weekend when I went to visit my Mother and Godmothers grave. I had to walk through knee-deep weeds growing in between the rows of graves and to avoid falling into a potential pothole and injuring myself, I had to walk on the concrete edges of the graves. Not a happy customer. I only hope they... More

We stopped in Richmond to see the Richmond Bridge and St John's church. The church is a short walk from the bridge. We parked next to the bridge and after walking around the bridge we took the short walk up to the church. The church is beautifully maintained, however it was disappointing to see the paving that had been used... More

A beautiful well-preseved and still used church - you could feel the Christian history all through the small church. It is near the historic bridge As a Christian, this a great complement to our trip to Richmond - as was the Anglican church.
