Lots and lots of fountains

They claim to have more fountains than anywhere but Rome and I believe them, Waterworkd everywhere. Most are nicely sited and operating. Nicely lighted at night

We were with a group of 45 in a large motor coach and we picked up a step on guide. She is a member of the KC Parks Board. She planned a tour from Union Station to the plaza and from the plaza to downtown. Then we ended up back at Union Station. Because there are so many fountains in... More

Kansas City is known for the fountains but not all of the fountains work. The working fountains are interesting. Oddly enough the excess of fountains (and the lack of maintenance) results in interesting winter frozen fountains around the city.

One of the most beautiful places in the country. These fountains are so relaxing and beyond beautiful and the general atmosphere surrounding the area is something to behold especially in the evening and around the holidays.

They are all over the place. The more well ones worthy of stopping for closer viewing. They are all over the town. A few are modern, mostly European looking.
