Very cool museum showing a brief snippet of the federal reserve. The display of what 40 M looks like was very cool and getting to see inside the Cash vault was cool too! Don’t forget to try to lift the Gold bar too!

This is quite the hidden gem when visiting Kansas City. The best thing is that it is free. It is right next to the WW I Memorial so you can park and visit both attractions. We really enjoyed the Presidential Coin Collection, Gold Bar and...More

Education and interesting trip for our girls. At first they were not really interested in going but then there were several exhibits geared towards children - they could print their own money certificate, try to lift a gold bar and watch what happens to damaged...More

Was looking forward to doing the iPad scavenger hunt that is so prominently advertised on the website and the Kansas City visitor site. Unfortunately, they had given ALL the iPads to a large tour group and there were NONE for anyone else. Are you kidding...More

Disclaimer: I have a Finance degree, so maybe I enjoyed this more than the average person. You could actually watch the employees sorting and bundling cash and the robots taking it in and out of the vault. Plus they had an awesome coin collection and...More

A self guided tour through displays of coin and the money tour...not a child's display at all, which is too bad. It would be hard for a parent to explain each display. The back of the museum room is an area to watch money being...More

I took the time to let my curiosity roam and found one of the most interesting free tours in Missouri. The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is an impressive regional headquarters of the central bank of the United States. I’m embarrassed to say that...More

Apparently no guided tour this time of year. They did have a website you could access with your smartphone that gave you a self guided audio tour... learned a few things but most of the displays are pretty dry...
