This place is by far the best concert venue in Kansas City and maybe one of he best in the US. After attending a concert here attending other concert venues around town seem less than acceptable. Staff does an outstanding job of assisting and parking is a breeze. Love it

I have been here three times. Great experiences all. Easy parking and great performances. The symphony was mesmerizing and the Broadway shows were enjoyable even in the less expensive seats. The views are an added free feature.

While visiting in the KC area with high school friends, I attended the performance of "42nd Street". The show was quite entertaining. The Kauffman Center is absolutely beautiful! While our seats were in the upper tier, we were still able to see and hear really well. The outside of the building reminded me of pictures I had seen of the... More

We saw 42nd Street at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. It was held in the Muriel Kauffman Theater which is the larger of the two theaters inside. The Kauffman Center is an absolutely spectacular venue for an event. The outside is striking with the fan design on one side and the glass and steel on the other. The... More

This is a first rate performance hall(s). There are two which I understand were built first then the surrounding building to house both. I also recall from the tour that this is one of the top acoustically perfect performing halls in the world. No matter where your seat is, you can hear your concert or show clearly. I was there... We went to see The Pirates of Penzance. I wanted to see it for a very long time and finally got the chance. Who was really really great. We purchase tickets of few weeks ago and free paid for the covered parking. It was a truly great show headed little mini screens front of us so if you couldn't understand... More

Even if you aren't a patron of the arts, it's well worth going to an event here just to enjoy the spectacular view and the grand architecture. The acoustics are amazing in both halls, and offer a great venue for any type performance. I have been blown away by the impressive performances of the orchestra and the ballet. The building...
