This was a cute little museum with lots of information. My only recommendation would be to sell more memorabilia. We really wanted some Route 66 souvenirs, but they did not have much.

Small collection of memorabilia from Route 66 doesn't take long to view. Interesting setups of diner, tourist cabin and gas station

Located inside of the local library. Museum is free, but there is a box if you wish to leave a donation. Primary focus of the museum is Route 66 locally and in Missouri. Displays include signs, memorabilia, artifacts, pictures, maps and recreated rooms. There is also a room where you can do research.

I enjoyed the many displays of historical pictures and stories. Not large but big enough to spend some time there and take in the history of the mid-west.

Very interesting and informative. If you are a Route 66 follower, this is definitely worth a stop and best of all it is free.

There are many reviews commenting on the museum’s small size. Sometimes, small is good when you don't have a lot of time. Oh, small doesn’t always mean a small experience. The exhibits are very well presented and there is a great mixture of memorabilia, history, stories and imagery to keep your interest. Combined with the gas station and vintage cars... More

The museum in the same building as the local library. It is very small compared to other Rt 66 museums but cute. There really was not anything different or a "must see". I thought by the size of the building there would be more, but the library occupies most of the space. Our gps and Roadside America app both put... More

Having criss-crossed the Interstate to follow Route 66 this was a welcome stop. An interesting free museum at the Library and a nice gift shop.

Nice little route 66 museum located inside the public library. The displays they put together are really nice and have a lot of old memorabilia. I recommend it if you're in town it's well worth seeing

My husband and I came here on our Route 66 road trip. It's a nice little museum. Didn't take long to walk through, but lots to look at. And it was free.
