The interaction with the volunteers was excellent. I work at a historic site myself so I judge by that. They could do so much more if they had the funding. Volunteers are pretty knowledgeable and it was a great day to visit.

This is an interesting historical place to visit that truly feels like an actual old town complete with people dressed in character cooking and tending the land. It's a lovely place to just walk around as well. Good for all ages.

Missouri Town is a step back in history! Actually it is more like 1000 steps back in history and by the time you are finished with your tour you will be much more appreciative of the stout stock people had to be made of back...More

We took our grandchildren ages 4 & 6. They loved being able to wander around through Missouri Town. We visited on their weekend in November with lots of exhibits/vendors.

We go out there several times year! The Park's and Rec people put out a wonderful agenda of things happening out there. We have seen sheep sheering, fall festivities, square dancing, and other activites that they have out there. We love to walk the place...More

This visit could not have been better! Each building was decorated for Christmas and a person in period costume provided background and information on the decor and timeframe. Hot cider, friendship tea, ginger cookies, and sugar cookies were a yummy treat. Live animals were accessible...More

They allow service animals only, no pets.
