I felt very touched to see the Wilders' resting place, but it was not an obvious find. There are only moderate special markings to the site, including bushes, which helps their plot to not stand out but also makes it tricky to locate. I would advise others that this is an active cemetery with members of the modern community still... More

The cemetery is located behind a school in Mansfield. Take the second (main) entrance. The Wilder graves are on the right in a group of small shrubs. The cemetery is well maintained and easy to get to. Would recommend for anyone interested in visiting the Wilder graves.

Quiet and well kept cemetery where fans of the books can pay their respects to the Ingalls family members

This completed my tour and visit of all things Laura Ingalls Wilder. It was very surreal to stand and pay my respects to a woman I've admired my whole life. Beautiful and very well kept.

Awesome Place to stop & see where Laura Ingalls Wilder as well as her Husband, Almanzo, and her Daughter, Rose, are buried deep in the Heart of the Ozark Mountains!

After stopping by the Laura Ingalls Wilder home and museum, you can pay your respects at the cemetery. Like the other reviews note, nothing fancy, but it's not to pay tribute to her.

Graves were in the middle so hard to access. Amazing to see how long Laura lived and to think of the changes she saw in her lifetime.

There isn't much to this, but it is worth a quick look. The graves are very conveniently marked, so no searching the whole cemetery. Bring your mementoes as many people leave items at the graves.

If you are visiting Laura Ingalls Wilder's home the cemetery is very close. It is easy to find off of main street Mansfield. It is small and the Wilder graves are easy to find with markers pointing the way. They are not pretentious stones at all but what you would expect her to have.
