A must for history buffs

Situated in the heart of Palmyra, the Gardner House Museum is just a short walk from downtown Palmyra. Lots to look at and inquire about.

Come by and chat with these ladies and gentlemen. They have volunteered their time to help nurture Palmyra's history. The love answering questions. As they are volunteers, they are not always open to the public. Calling ahead is a good idea.

Fantastic museum with cool architecture and exhibits both inside and outside in the garden. Historical and history, too! Don't miss this! We loved it! :)

What a hidden jewel this historical home and museum is. We are so glad we ventured a few miles pass Hannibal Mo. to the town of Palmyra, Mo and saw the 1828 home and museum of the Gardner House.
