College of the Ozarks, known as "Hard Work U," is more than a college. It's a destination with tons of family-friendly activities, including two museums, an old-fashioned grist mill, fruitcake and jelly kitchen, stained glass studio, and exquisite 4-star dining at Dobyns Dining Room in The Keeter Center. It's a great way to spend a day while you are in the Branson area. The only thing that requires admission is the Ralph Foster Museum ($6 Adults, $5 Seniors, and Free to all 18 and under). Dobyns Dining Room offers a farm to table experience without breaking the bank. Come learn why this unique college is nationally known.

This was my first trip to Dobyn's Dining Hall and I am so glad we went. The food if right up there with a 5 star establishment. The young men and women who work there are so polite and attentive. Just make sure to make reservations because they fill up fast.

The college is short drive from Branson. We went to see a play written by the college president about one of their past students who was captured by the German's during World War II and his brave escape from a Nazi prison camp. The acting was superb. Beautiful campus!

Seems nobody knows that this college is a working college and you can visit and see all that they have. They have a marvelous museum that is three floors, and yes, they are handicap accessible with wheel chairs available even. There is also a flour mill, restaurant, dairy barn, restored tractors, etc. Talking with some local residents they don't even... More

This is one of the most amazing campuses you will visit. Everything is done by students, with exception of some supervisors. The pride in their school and knowledge truly makes this "Hard Working U". We came early because of dining plans, but we are so glad we did. The campus is beautiful and there are so many interesting sites to... More

The Mill, greenhouses and tractor museum were all we made it to this time. These areas were very interesting and we are looking forward to... More

We went to see the campus as self-guided tourists and were pleased. The lookout point gave a breathtaking view of the water and countryside.

Dinner or Sunday Brunch at The Keeter Center is a real treat! The food is superb, the service excellent and the interaction with the students makes for a really unique experience. Put it on you list of things to do when you visit Branson!

Our daughter graduated from College of the Ozarks quite a few years ago and we have always been grateful for the fine education she received there.

This restaurant is staffed by the College kids.. Food served is grown by the college .. RESERVATIONS MANDATORY.. Excellent food and service. Be sure to take a tour of the campus and visit the gift shop.. They have flour and stone ground meal, homemade jellies, crafts made by students. Free tuition but students are expected to work on campus. Don't... More
