Cute, quaint looking town. We stopped for dinner heading west from the airport. What a pleasant surprise. Pretty, brick buildings, flowers and clean. I would stop there again if in the area.

Allow at least 3 hours to tour this historical old town. Has lots to do with the adventures of Lewis & Clark and their departure on the expedition for Pres. Jefferson. Nice fun shopping and many restaurants to choose from.

Love the look of the area. The trolley is free and great. Sometimes they have food trucks out along with several other events throughout the year. The Casino Dow the street is the perfect place to end your night or day.

I love St. Charles and especially the historic district. Every time I visit I discover something different. This trip it was the historic first capital building. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable!
