Hidden gem in St. Louis. Beautiful mosaics and interesting history. Recommend a tour with one of the volunteer docents. As impressive as many of the well known cathedrals in Europe.

To those of you who live in my fair city, this has been a wonderful place for worship and awe, but to those from other parts of this country or the rest of the world for that matter, you have got to behold this truly inspiring church! The ceiling is done in beautiful tile with scenes from the Bible. There... More

Wonderful unexpected wine and soft drink reception after... More

Tips: Free parking in back of church; Allow for plenty of time to soak it all in and to read & view every panel above. Mosaic museum downstairs asks only for a nominal $2 donation. Small but packed gift shop probably has a memento you'd like or a gift for someone you care about. Men: Please remove your hats. All:... More

The most amazing cathedral in Midwest America. I recommend calling ahead and scheduling a tour. But if you just drop in, you won't be disappointed.

Gorgeous. Architecture and outside areas nice but the inside mosaic work is breathtaking. Little museum in the basement, but the real gem is the all the mosaic and altar.
