We boarded the Tom Sawyer riverboat on my son's 4th grade fieldtrip. It was a great experience for the kids and adults, alike! The crew was very friendly and courteous. My son thoroughly enjoyed this trip, as well as his dad and I.

This was a getaway for my son and I. An this was his first time on a riverboat. Once he stopped laughing and running from deck to deck he actually noticed that we were moving and enjoyed the scenery from the mid-deck room. Got combo ticket to top of arch and boat ride. Boat ride was very pleasant and informative. You see long barges pushed by a single tugboat and other things as viewed from the water. Ride is narrated.

We took the hour cruise and it was well worth the price. I grew up in St Louis and still learned some things that I didn't know about my city. The boat has 3 decks so you can watch the scenery go by outside or in air conditioning. The boat also has a adequate snack bar with reasonable prices and... More

A big big part of your enjoyment of this boat ride will depend on your expectations. If you want to have a nice hour long ride on a historic river you will love it. If you want a tour of St. Louis you will be disappointed. Why? Because much of the stuff to see in St. Louis is on the... More

It was a beautiful 80 degree day. We decided to go on the Riverboat to get some good shots of the Arch. $20 per adult and $10 per child, our 2 year old was free. The Captain gave some information about St. Louis during the ride, but unfortunately there isn't much to see besides 2 bridges, some old buildings, and... More

We were taken up stream by the Tom Sawyer and crew. As a tourist it was great to have the captain blurt out random little fun facts as we traveled along. The event gives St Louis a fantastic soulful fell. Couple of suggestions: Take sun glasses, wear sun screen and sit outside of the cabin area. The guys at the... More

Something you should do if visiting St. Louis. We had a sunny day and enjoyed the 1 hour cruise after a visit at the arch. The tour was narrated with great information on what we saw on both sides of the river and all the bridges. It's always a great perspective to see a city from the sea (or from... More
